However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He bought a lance and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His auburn hair and beard is wavy and long. His brown eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. After coming to the age of reason, Roland took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roland fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Godfrey isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Godfrey hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Godfrey alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
