Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a Bookbinder, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Roland was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Description: 6'2" and muscular, this northern man wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his axe with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He has wavy black hair. His eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Reynard was born with his mother's beautiful face. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Alexandre was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Brewer.
