History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Frederick was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Frederick never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
