History: Born to a Painter, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Slave Trader work with an outfit from a few towns over. Slave Trader work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Slave Trader job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: Bertram is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bertram does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Aldous was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he's in love

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Priest for hire.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Lewis was born the youngest of three triplets. His first spouse was a Miller, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands; and sabotage a competitor
