History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Anselm was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Scribe. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Gifted from a young age, Roger studied abroad. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Description: This younger middle-aged man is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes., and a wedding ring on his right hand. He has wavy red hair. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Shane hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Chad will drive conversation. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Chad grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.
