History: Gifted from a young age, Patrick studied abroad. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Alex embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Alex was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A freak accident while working with his Navigator mother left him crippled. After a long history of fighting, Alex and his spouse have recently divorced.

He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. Don enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born in the east. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has money and likes to spend it
