History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bernard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gifted student he started as a Carpenter, but he got bored and became a Sellsword. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He has all his life been fascinated with painting.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He bought a pickaxe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.
