History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Manfred has worked very hard to control his curse. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Description: This tall, slender man does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His white hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born to a Layabout, his father struggled to pay the bills. Hugh was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Hugh decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Bookbinder kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a scythe, but if one is not available he will default to his nunchaku. His hair is black and very short. His eyes are amber.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Adelard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: He dresses like a well dressed Layabout does, and he perpetually has his sai ready. With bright golden hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are blue.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. The war was a terrible time for him, and Anthony does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: This man wears a white shirt, with a black mid length shorts with black tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He sports a flattop hair cut. His green eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He worked as a nervous Interpreter and found it very stressful. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and sabotage a competitor
