He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Arnold hails from a village terrorized by giants. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Farmer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Apothecary mother left him crippled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
