Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Mercenary born in the past three hundred years. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Aldous hails from a village terrorized by orcs. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He struck the Mercenary job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it.

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His moppish silver hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it.

Description: He wears brown trousers with yellow and brown striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. He is portly but not overly obese. His tied-back hair is brown. His violet eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Guard; and he would like to get married and retire

Personality: Ralf speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Born in the west to a Banker, Ralf learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Crown-heir, but he got bored and became a Banker. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Banker.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Banker responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Lance was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Map Maker. After a long history of fighting, Lance and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
