History: Dean was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He's also a talented Sailor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His first spouse was a Map Maker, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Gilbert was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Born in the east to a Masseuse, Trym learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
