A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He tends to his Sage job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Arnold grew up listening to his father's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His childhood dream was to be a Performer, but he was a colossal failure. He's also a talented Performer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
