Anselm Axton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This late middle aged man wears a simple black robe with tan stripes complete with hood and is in decent physical shape. He has wavy white hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Anselm is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Anselm was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personal [hide]
Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines gray.
Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Shane isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south.
