History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hugh grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Hugh lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town.
