He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

Gerard Gladstone, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: His right side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His long white hair reaches down to his waist. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Gerard was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Gilbert Radcliffe, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His tied-back hair is blonde. His brown eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born in the south to a Map Maker, Gilbert learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker.
