History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Lewis never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Shane alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Shane was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.
