History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Gerald's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city.
