History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Theobald lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. Dustin enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Richard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Richard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
