History: Bernard was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. He married young, but lost his spouse to brigands. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: This exceptionally lanky man prefers to wear white clothing when he does not wear armor. With bright auburn hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are blue and beady.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: He comes from a rich southern family. Bernard was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Bernard decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has achieved small success as a Tailor.
