History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Description: He wears a tattered pair of loose brown pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His hair is chestnut and curly. His blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. John is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: John was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Painter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Painter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Painter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. A true patriot, Raymond would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gifted student he started as a Fortune-teller, but he got bored and became a Sculptor. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
