History: Born to a Hunter, his father struggled to pay the bills. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to settle down with his crush
