Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He tends to wear a large white jacket. He wears a small hat to hide his balding. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep violet.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: John was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has worked as a Banker like his mother before him.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: This late middle aged man dresses in white turtlenecks beneath a brown coat with yellow slacks and is in decent physical shape. His black hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His brown unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 41. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Charles was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Healer. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and money/treasure

Description: 5'4" and muscular, this eastern man wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His golden hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sellsword hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: This malnourished man wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his bow with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His brown hair is knotted and matted. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Richard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Richard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
