Description: His right side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears a robe, a symbol of his god around his neck, and a sai on his belt. His silver hair is matted, messy, and big. His green eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with white lining and desert motifs. His hair is long and brown with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small white clips. His beard is red, braided, and well cared for. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Gilbert was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants revenge against brigands

Description: This eastern man has a large white mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his pastel robe. His clothes are grease stained in places. His hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Lance is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Lance hails from a village terrorized by giants. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Lance alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants.

Description: This man wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with grey colored cloaks and clothing. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. With a patchy silver beard and wild silver hair. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Roger isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Cartwright. After months of barely getting by, Roger managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: To protect his home; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Adam grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature flail.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away.
