In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Alexandre alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
