History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Blacksmith work with an outfit from a few towns over. Blacksmith work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Nicholas hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
