History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Jocelyn Prescott, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. He carries with him a set of longswords, each one with a emerald on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His long golden hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed white hat.
Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Jocelyn is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Born to a Miller, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
