History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: John speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Butcher work with an outfit from a few towns over. Butcher work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a Butcher soon after.
