Through the years after Chad was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Chad's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Gifted from a young age, Simon studied abroad. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Stylist. He has worked as a Stylist like his mother before him.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Lewis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family.
