History: Born to a Blacksmith, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Merchant for the past few years.

Motivation: To be a Blacksmith again; and balancing his hectic life and new merchant responsibilities is difficult

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Gerard reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: He was born into a rich family. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He's also a talented Dilettante, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: This light-skinned male wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His golden hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady green eyes.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Laborer and was forced into it by his family; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Interpreter.
