History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Adelard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Adelard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
