History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Alex is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. The war was a terrible time for him, and Conrad does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Conrad lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He worked as a nervous Navigator and found it very stressful. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
