History: The child of a Ruler, who enjoyed hunting, Dean was taken on many hunting expeditions. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Dean alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Soapmaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Soapmaker for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.
