He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

History: Adelard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

His chestnut hair is matted, messy, and big. His blue eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and retire the richest man in the south

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Bertram was born on a far southern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Mason. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
