History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A gifted student he started as a Layabout, but he got bored and became a Sailor. He has worked as a Sailor like his father before him.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
