In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Randal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Patrick was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
