History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Theodoric grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Theodoric. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
