Description: He stands about 5'9" and wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty black coat over it. His left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His white hair is lengthy. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gray.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Justin hails from a village terrorized by illithids. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered illithids who tried to eat his hand. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and wants to raise his children well

Description: This man stands a little under 6'3" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a nunchaku on his belt. His hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. He has amber eyes and a black hat with a red feather.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He takes great joy in being the best Butcher in town.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing his hectic life and new butcher responsibilities is difficult

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Bertram was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Theobald hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy black stubble. He wears a white cloak and cross-gartered black stockings. He has a hunchback. He wears his black hair up in a very large beehive style do. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Sellsword business.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. After a long history of fighting, Theodoric and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact
