History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Healer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born in the east to a Shepherd, Charles learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
