History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When Gerald reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his pickaxe with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His silver hair is unkempt and raggedy. His hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Shoemaker business.

History: Everard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Roger embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Roger was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Roger's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Kody was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact
