His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. After a long history of fighting, Theobald and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: He dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner, and he perpetually has his scythe ready. He has dyed his greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. His fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Aldous embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Soapmaker but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Soapmaker arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Aldous fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. He keeps his silver hair in a pixie cut. His eyes are green.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
