Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Heward grew up listening to his father's many stories. Heward was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Heward decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

History: Miles lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and to reunite with his absent mother
