History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Bertram was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor.
