He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

History: Gerard was born with his mother's beautiful face. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
