History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: To be a Gardener again; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: Standing 5'7", this man wears dull yellow sweaters, loose green pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed greatsword, just in case. He has no hair. This gray eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Roland is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
