History: Theobald was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Theobald was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Now he works as a writing tutor during his time off.

Personality: Charles is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He became a Blacksmith soon after.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he is greedy

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Dustin was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Dyer. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Ralf lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Ralf alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
