Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gerard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Gerard abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Hubert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has achieved small success as a Map Maker.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and a rival would like him out of the picture
