Through the years after John was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. John's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature flail.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Farmer. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Born in the north to a Priest, Bernard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He tends to his Priest job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

History: Norman was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
