Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Heward embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Through the years after Heward was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Heward's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Shane lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Shane was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Shipwright. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He has all his life been fascinated with painting.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears tattered old clothes. He has no hair. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born in the east to a Farmer, Ralf learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Farmer for hire.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he feels threatened by others
