Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He has a very tight haircut. This blue eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gilbert embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Barber arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears a black coat over a white low-cut shirt, and a small hat upon his head. He wears his auburn hair up in a very large beehive style do. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He's also a talented Performer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his bastard sword with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines gray.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born into a rich family. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. His hair, while still mostly golden, has prominent grey streaks. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Gomory was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. Sporting a auburn mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His eyes are likewise amber. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Scribe. A true patriot, Manfred would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Manfred lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Sage, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and sabotage a competitor
