Description: With black face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he usually wears his blue robe and has his sickle always slung over his shoulder. His brown hair is knotted and matted. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his hazel eyes.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Mercenary born in the past three hundred years. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gilbert does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His childhood dream was to be a Bather, but he was a colossal failure. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mercenary for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mercenary responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His auburn hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has achieved small success as a Barrister.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: This northern man is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His clothes are grease stained in places. His silver hair is smooth and relatively long. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he usually wears his pastel robe and has his pickaxe always slung over his shoulder. He has no hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things
